Lucky Arcata, you're getting a Mazottis
Mazottis on the first Saturday of the Month, when it is Saturday Night Arts Alive in Eureka, and the entire of Old Town is jumping with jazz and happy people, this is the sort of thing that makes Eureka a really cool city to live in.
And now, Arcata is going to be getting a Mazottis too, in the place where the old Cafe Tomo used to be. (To be fair, we're getting a Cafe Tomo across the street from La Chapalla, Whee!)
Arcata, you're going to like this. If it is as good as the one we have in Eureka, you're going to have a place where good food is served well, where your folks can gather and enjoy, and be assured of excellent italian food in a downtown setting.
My favorite is the minestrone soup. But I haven't had anything yet that was unappetizing. I'm just a soup person. I know people who swear by their pizza, or lasagne, and I've tried the veggie lasagne, and find it good (although not the best in Old Town.)
If they can just lure the cook away from six rivers old town, then they will have it all!
That, and maybe less waiting???
